COMPETITION RULES
We would like to take this opportunity to remind you all of some important competition rules. Note that the breaking of these rules could lead to disqualification.
Please Note: The Gymnast will only be allowed to compete once his/her full entry fee for the has been received.
Please ensure that your gymnast is aware of the rules that apply to him/her .
Gymnasts must report to the warm-up and grouping section, from there the team coaches will supervise them until the completion of the prize giving.
Parents are not permitted in the grouping area or on the competition floor at any time during the competition. Competition area is off limits to all except gymnasts, coaches and judges and competition staff.
1. Hair must be neat and away from the face. If ribbons are worn, please ensure that they are the same colour as the leotard.
2. No jewellery may be worn. This includes earrings, bracelets, necklaces and watches.
3. Once on the competition floor no communication is allowed between gymnasts and parents.
4. Gymnasts may not speak to the judges during the competition.
5. The gymnast is allowed to have a bottle of water with him/her on the floor (inside a gym bag).
6. No eating is allowed on the competition floor.
7. No flash photography is allowed – should you take photo’s or video of your gymnast please ensure that the flash if off.
8. Please obey all signs as indicated
9. As your child needs to show great sportsmanship, we anticipate good etiquette and compliance with rules from all.
10. Please don’t smoke in entry and exit zones, the building in general or toilets!
11.Have a save journey and remember to make time to relax and enjoy the experience. This is the stuff that makes memories.
